Scientific committeeThe company has a scientific committee consisting of Helén Tuvesson (Chair), Andrea van Elsas and Hans Preusting. The tasks of the scientific committee are set out in its instructions, which are adopted by the board annually. The purpose of the Scientific Committee is to assist the members of the board of directors in fulfilling their responsibilities by reviewing and evaluating research strategy and research, development and clinical programs for the company. To accomplish this purpose, the committee shall, on its own or in conjunction with the Scientific Advisory Board, review and monitor the science, processes and procedures, and infrastructure underlying the company’s major discovery and clinical development programs and make recommendations to the board and management.
